Procurement Officer for Electrical Components (m/f/x)

Do you have a strong understanding of technical interrelationships and work in a structured and results-orientated manner? As a Procurement Officer for Electrical Components at our customer Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will be responsible for procurement and ensure efficient coordination of processes. With your communication skills, you will work successfully with contacts at all levels.

The maximum gross annual salary is €88,700. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks

  • Contract management – ensuring contract compliance, price review and implementation of cost reduction measures
  • Risk management – identifying and minimising supplier risks (financial, strategic, etc.)
  • Project support – collaboration on company-wide and cross-divisional projects
  • Purchasing optimisation – efficient procurement of services at the best total cost
  • Contract negotiations – negotiating and enforcing favourable contract clauses with suppliers
  • Process reliability – ensuring compliance with internal regulations and operational processes

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or international management with at least a Master's degree or diploma
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of purchasing, customer service, project management, contract management and sales
  • Basic knowledge of risk management
  • Initial user knowledge of SAP and Google Workspace
  • Business fluent in English, French and German an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (two to three times per year)
  • Existing work permit for the EU
