Tasks

• Conception & optimisation - development and optimisation of manufacturing and production equipment strategies from an economic point of view
• Planning & Controlling - Creation, maintenance and management of production plans including commissioning, financing and controlling
• Process optimisation - Continuous improvement of production processes in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
• Test evaluation - initiation and analysis of production tests to optimise processes
• Component specification - Specification and commissioning of components for on-time component delivery
• Coordination - coordination between production and design to efficiently solve production problems
• Cost reduction - identification and implementation of cost reduction measures and adaptation of production-related regulations

Qualification

• Completed training in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical degree, at least at technician/specialist level
• Several years of professional experience in production planning and control
• Sound knowledge of production processes and experience in work preparation is an advantage
• Very good MS Office skills, especially in the detailed functions
• In-depth application knowledge of SAP R/3 and Catia V5
• Business fluent in German and proficient in English
• A valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
