Tasks

• Interface function between departments such as work preparation, materials management, product assurance, production and integration & testing
• Testing of individual parts and assemblies from mechanical engineering as well as standard parts and semi-finished products according to specifications and standards
• Metrological testing of individual parts and assemblies under changing requirements for the measuring device setup
• Microscopic testing of various components to ensure quality standards
• Checking the accompanying documentation in English and French for completeness and contractual fulfilment
• Preparation of test reports and complaint reports in English
• Carrying out final inspections of complex construction units at contractual partners
• Tracking and monitoring of corrective measures for rejected deliveries and dispatch inspections

Qualification

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer or comparable technical training with additional qualification as a technician or business administrator
• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, aerospace and quality assurance
• Sound experience in dealing with electronic components and technical systems
• Very good MS Office skills and experience with SAP R/3 QA
• Business fluent in German and proficient in English and French
• A valid work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
