Helicopter Rotor Systems Design Engineer (m/f/x)

In this exciting position, you will make a significant contribution to the development and optimisation of rotor systems and work closely with a highly qualified team. You will be characterised by excellent communication skills to ensure the efficient flow of information. With your ability to work in a team, you will successfully integrate yourself into interdisciplinary teams, while your reliability and quality-conscious approach will ensure that you always deliver the highest precision and quality.

Tasks

  • Analysing and evaluating design change requests and developing tailor-made proposals for the successful implementation of design changes
  • Carry out design changes in 3D and 2D - from initial request to final approval, with the highest precision and quality
  • Support the regulatory department by working closely with regulatory engineers and providing detailed technical descriptions to expedite the approval process
  • Active participation in the squad organisation to promote efficient collaboration and successful project implementation

Qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering or mechanical engineering, alternatively 3-year vocational training with qualified further training as a technician and subject-specific experience
  • Several years of professional experience in the design of metallic components, basic knowledge of design with fibre composite materials, experience in the processing of construction deviations
  • Interest in helicopter rotor systems and their technical challenges
  • Confident handling of 3D design software (e.g. CATIA)
  • Business fluent in German and English, French an advantage
  • Existing work permit for the EU (no student visa)
