Satellite Systems Test Engineer at Airbus (m/f/x)

We are currently looking for a Satellite Systems Test Engineer for our client Airbus Defence and Space at their site in Taufkirchen near Munich. In this role, you will take on key tasks in the area of assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) of aerospace components, with a focus on thermal vacuum testing, calibration, and characterization. Tasks

Conducting thermal vacuum test campaigns (TVAC) in shift operation
Calibration and characterization of space systems
Maintenance, improvement, and implementation of existing test procedures
Analysis of test results to identify causes and derive pragmatic solutions
Coordination with project teams to define efficient test strategies in terms of quality, time, and costs
Support with non-conformities and error analyses in accordance with quality standards

Qualification

Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace, embedded systems or similar
Several years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
Experience with space standards (ECSS) as well as in software testing and IT network management is an advantage
Knowledge of central cash register systems including SCOS-2000 and CCSDS/PUS is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office
Business fluent English (at least C1), German skills desirable
Willingness to work shifts (early/late/night on a 3-4 day cycle, alternating over several weeks)
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
Resume in English required
