Tasks

Manufacture, modification, and integration of multi-layer insulation (MLI) according to defined specifications
Independent implementation of work instructions and quality assurance measures using activity control sheets (ACS)
Mechanical integration of satellite assemblies at various locations and participation in international test and launch campaigns
Maintenance and updating of the MLI material database and participation in process optimization
Support in the creation of technical documentation and process descriptions

Qualification

Completed vocational training as an automotive mechanic, mechanic, or in a metalworking profession
Many years of professional experience, particularly in the manufacture of MLI for space applications
Several years of practical experience in the mechanical integration of satellite assemblies
Knowledge of ECSS standards and aerospace standards is an advantage
Confident use of MS Office
Very good German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
Willingness to work at different locations and participate in international campaigns
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
