Tasks

  • Carrying out repair work on door seals to ensure functionality and tightness in the aircraft structure
  • Assembly, maintenance and replacement of aerodynamic sealing systems on cockpit windows and fuselage areas in compliance with aviation-specific specifications
  • Removal of superficial structural and paint damage such as scratches to maintain technical and visual integrity
  • Visual inspection of sealing surfaces and adjacent structural elements for damage, material wear or leaks
  • Application of technical documents for the proper disassembly and assembly of sealing components in the cabin and outer skin area

 

Qualification

  • Successfully completed training as a process mechanic, industrial painter, painter and varnisher or comparable
  • Experience in handling chemicals, in particular paints, sealants and Alodine
  • Knowledge of applying sealing beads to the exterior of aircraft
  • Proficiency in German and English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work early and late shifts as well as weekends
  • Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) mandatory
