Tasks

  • Carrying out purchasing activities including requesting quotations, comparing quotations and negotiating contracts
  • Contract management across the entire product life cycle (development, series production, support)
  • Ensuring supplier performance in areas such as quality, costs, logistics and service
  • Managing supply chains (supply chain management) to minimize risks and costs
  • Implementation of purchasing strategies in international projects in compliance with internal guidelines
  • Establishing and maintaining sustainable supplier relationships (supplier management)
  • Collaboration and leadership in cross-functional project teams during tendering and awarding processes
  • Monitoring of contract fulfillment by suppliers, taking into account relevant KPIs

Qualification

  • Completed studies in industrial engineering or economics
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management and contract management, including demonstrable contract negotiation experience
  • Very good MS Excel skills, basic SAP knowledge; Google Workspace an advantage
  • Business fluent German and English (at least C1) required
  • Willingness to travel for occasional business trips (6-8 times per year)
  • Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa) mandatory
