Strategic Buyer for Aircraft Systems (m/f/x)

For our client Airbus Operations GmbH at the Hamburg Finkenwerder site, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Buyer for Aircraft Systems in full-time employment. In this key role, you will work at the interface between engineering, programme management and suppliers – with direct impact on all Airbus programmes. Tasks

Coordination of procurement strategies for mechanical systems and cabin components in close collaboration with engineering and programme teams
Execution of tenders, contract negotiations and contract finalisation
Supplier management with a focus on trust, compliance and long-term partnerships
Participation in governance meetings, task forces and risk assessments
Development and maintenance of a comprehensive internal and external network
Support in competitor analysis and strategic supplier evaluation
Monitoring of contract fulfilment and change management

Qualification

Completed degree in industrial engineering or a technical field
Extensive professional experience in procurement and supplier management, as well as several years of experience in contract management
Solid knowledge of project management
Experience working with Google Workspace
Very good English skills (at least C1)
CV in English required
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
