Tasks

• Responsibility for international supplier management and ensuring the availability of purchased parts and services in close coordination with the line manager and in accordance with the defined processes
• Active participation in projects and process optimisation in purchasing, always in coordination with the line manager to increase efficiency and quality
• Introduction and monitoring of corrective measures in the event of deviations, both in cooperation with internal and external interfaces, under the direction of the supervisor, across locations
• Leading contract negotiations with potential new suppliers, including negotiations in English, to ensure the best possible conditions
• Continuous support and maintenance of existing supplier relationships to ensure long-term cooperation and a stable supply chain
• Close exchange with internal departments to optimise the purchasing strategy and ensure smooth cooperation within the company

Qualification

• Completed commercial vocational training with many years of professional experience in the relevant field
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, especially in operational and strategic procurement, as well as in supplier management and strategic purchasing, ideally in the aerospace industry
• A good technical understanding is a prerequisite
• In-depth user knowledge of MS Office and in-depth expertise with SAP
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Existing work permit for the European Union (not a student visa)
