Become a key part of our client Airbus Operations GmbH at the Hamburg Finkenwerder site and start as a Strategic Purchaser Aviation Industry. In this role, you will be part of the Procurement Aerostructure Team and ensure, among other tasks, the supply of all Airbus sites with mechanical systems and cabin components. You will coordinate procurement activities, prepare tender documents and help shape purchasing strategies. Sounds interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

The gross annual salary ranges, depending on qualifications, from €82,500 to a maximum of €85,400. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Tasks

Strategic procurement of mechanical systems and cabin components for the A220 program
Coordination with procurement, engineering and program teams to develop appropriate sourcing strategies
Execution of tenders (RFI), negotiations, contract management and change processes
Development and maintenance of a strong supplier network in the aerospace industry
Ensuring professional and trusting supplier relationships in compliance with ethics and compliance standards
Participation in organizational meetings, risk assessments and task forces
Continuous improvement of competitiveness and contribution to cross-functional teams

Qualification

Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field
Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management, as well as initial experience in contract management
Good knowledge of project management
Confident handling of Google Workspace
Business fluent English skills (min. C1) and basic German skills (min. A2)
CV in English required
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
