At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you can expect a challenging role as Strategic Purchaser for Logistics Services. In this position, you will act as the interface between the market, suppliers, and internal stakeholders – with responsibility for a strategically relevant service portfolio within the Airbus Group. Bring your negotiating expertise and market knowledge to bear where innovation meets global supply chains.

Tasks

Strategic management of a service provider portfolio in the field of logistics services
Conducting tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier management
Market analysis within the framework of the overarching purchasing strategy
Supporting multi-function teams, including performance monitoring and claim management
Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with logistics service providers
Ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines and legal requirements
Supporting strategic projects in the areas of sustainability, resilience, and innovation

Qualification

Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, international management, or logistics/supply chain management
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or supplier management, ideally in an international environment
Basic knowledge of project management and risk management
Knowledge of data analysis/data analytics
Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and English (at least C1)
Willingness to travel regularly on business (1–2 trips per quarter)
Resume in English required
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
