Structural Mechanic Aircraft Construction & Assembly (m/f/x)

As a specialist (m/f/d) in aircraft assembly, you will take on exciting tasks in structural reinforcement, lightning protection and surface finishing at our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Nordenham. You will work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the production of ultra-modern aircraft. The gross annual salary is approximately €42,800. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks

  • Carrying out station-related activities in modern aircraft construction
  • Preparation and integration of stringers for structural reinforcement
  • Assembly and integration of lightning protection systems for the safe dissipation of electrical charges
  • Preparing and setting up devices for the production process
  • Application of resin and colour sealants for surface finishing and protective coating
  • Carrying out vacuum set-ups

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, process mechanic for plastics and rubber, carpenter or in a woodworking profession with many years of experience
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, ideally with composite materials
  • CFRP knowledge is an advantage
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Business fluent German and basic English skills
  • Team player with a quality-conscious, independent, flexible and committed way of working
  • Present work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
