For our customer, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, we are looking for an experienced Structural Mechanic Components Assembly A400M at the Bremen site as part of a project-based employment. Tasks

  • Performing repair work on the aircraft structure, such as damage to the outer skin
  • Preparing the workstation, including reviewing job orders, drawings and providing required production tools
  • Positioning and securing components in place
  • Assembling structural components and documenting the work in accordance with aerospace standards
  • Conducting quality inspections during and after assembly
  • Supporting structural mechanical tasks across changing production stations
  • Actively contributing to team efforts to ensure smooth production processes
  • Complying with all safety and environmental regulations at the workplace

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession
  • Several years of professional experience in structural assembly, aircraft mechanics, and manufacturing / production
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry is required
  • Advanced German language skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in shifts (2- to 3-shift system)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
