Supply Chain Manager Kitting & Material Control (m/f/x)

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager Kitting & Material Control for our client Airbus Operations GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder location. The gross annual salary is between €73,000 and €78,000, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa). This position is expected to be limited to 12 months.

Tasks

  • Monitoring and controlling the continuous flow of materials – from goods receipt to shipping
  • Coordinating external service providers in accordance with process specifications
  • Quickly resolving problems in the kitting process
  • Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identifying potential for optimization and implementing sustainable solutions
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal customers regarding processes, tools, and systems
  • Collaboration on cross-departmental projects for process improvement
  • Ensuring process quality in cooperation with logistics partners

 

Qualification

  • Completed training as an aircraft mechanic, logistics specialist, freight forwarding agent with additional qualification as a master craftsman
    OR completed technical degree or degree in supply chain/industrial engineering (at least technician/specialist)
  • Several years of professional experience in customer service, supply chain, or logistics
  • Good knowledge of lean management, basic knowledge of service bulletins
  • Initial experience in quality management is an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP and confident use of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
  • Resume in English required
