Supply Chain Manager Materials Management Aviation (m/f/x)

For our client Airbus Operations GmbH at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel site, we are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager Materials Management Aviation. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the supply chain in critical situations – Aircraft On Ground (AOG) – and ensure that spare parts are delivered quickly, reliably and in close coordination with international customers. The gross annual salary ranges from €64,000 to a maximum of €67,500 depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Tasks

Ensure on-time processing of all customer orders and deliveries
Manage the disposition, ordering and control of spare parts, missing items and hardware in AOG cases
Maintain direct communication with customers to provide order status updates and coordinate solutions
Perform daily monitoring of the supply chain and coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Analyze delivery delays and develop structured recovery plans
Create and communicate demand forecasts, including planning and forecast analysis

Qualification

Completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a comparable field (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
Several years of experience in procurement, material planning, supplier management, and aerospace logistics
Advanced SAP skills and confident use of Google Workspace tools
Fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
Willingness to work in a 3-shift system (24/7) including weekends, holidays and on-call duty
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
