Tasks

• Interface function between suppliers and Airbus departments such as Purchasing and Engineering to ensure effective cooperation
• Analysing and monitoring supplier performance to identify potential for improvement and optimise supply chains
• Planning and conducting quality analyses and error source analyses for the continuous improvement of products and processes
• Supporting the introduction of new products to ensure industrial maturity before series production
• Qualifying and developing suppliers in order to improve their performance in the long term
• Processing complaints, carrying out root cause analyses and risk management in the supply chain
• Developing and implementing short-term recovery plans to minimise delivery delays
• Execution and planning of quality improvement projects, including the definition of project goals and the introduction of new processes to increase efficiency

Qualification

• Degree in engineering, aerospace, composite materials / composites, supply chain / logistics or supply chain quality
• Several years of professional experience in supplier management, quality management and supply chain
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, initial user knowledge of SAP PDMlink A350, Taksy / Gesy / Tesy
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to travel (on average 5 days per month)
• Existing work permit for the EU (no student visa)
• Team player with a structured and results-orientated way of working and strong communication skills
