Tasks

• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into technical system solutions
• Specify, develop, integrate, verify, qualify and certify mission systems (air and ground segment)
• Integrate and manage specific components and subsystems within the mission system
• Plan and execute lab, ground and flight tests, including documentation and customer approval
• Ensure airworthiness of the systems throughout their entire life cycle
• Evaluate innovative technologies and carry out cost-benefit analyses
• Implement aviation standards such as DO178, DO254, ARP4754 etc.
• Contribute to agile development teams and apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods

Qualification

• Master's or diploma degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science or aerospace engineering
• Professional experience in engineering and the aerospace industry
• Experience in systems engineering, including with DOORS and MBSE
• Knowledge of digital interface tools such as CAMEO or ICDMS is an advantage
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is desirable
• Strong MS Office skills and advanced expertise in DOORS
• Business fluent English skills (min. C1), German skills desirable
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
