Tasks

  • Contribute to the product strategy as well as to research and technology initiatives
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to assembly technologies
  • Develop a harmonized roadmap for assembly technologies in coordination with production sites and Final Assembly Lines
  • Support industrial research and development projects
  • Contribute to standardization and take ownership of relevant technical standards in structural assembly
  • Provide technology input for multifunctional teams, particularly in the procurement environment
  • Support the industrialization of new assembly technologies (e.g. drilling, fastening, metrology, and tooling technologies)
  • Ensure technology transfer through internal support and networking activities

Qualification

  • Completed technical vocational training with a master craftsman qualification, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, lathe operator, milling machine operator, cutting machine operator, or similar skilled trade
  • Alternatively, a completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
  • Extensive professional experience in manufacturing / production, aircraft construction, jigs & tools, and manufacturing engineering
  • Solid knowledge of project management and total quality management (problem-solving methods)
  • Advanced user knowledge of SAP and confident handling of Google Workspace
  • Fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
