Tasks

Leading projects in the field of manufacturing and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to promote end-to-end digital continuity (E2E)
Developing and implementing a PLM-based system to support engineering-to-shopfloor processes
Designing and launching the "ME Work Preparation Excellence Journey" initiative
Developing a Python-based user interface to manage configuration files for metrology projects
Taking responsibility for the plant-wide transition of metrology software, configuration systems and databases
Designing and programming a new configuration management system

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with business rules and automation standards

Qualification

Completed degree in computer science, engineering, mechanical engineering or metrology
Several years of professional experience in the fields of IT / information systems, manufacturing engineering, metrology and data analysis
Basic experience in performing 3D measurement procedures and in metrology / measurement techniques (e.g. AUKOM I)
Good knowledge of XML, XML schemas (XSD) and XML stylesheets (XSL)
Specialized knowledge in Python and confident use of Google Workspace
Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B2)
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
