Tasks

  • Procurement of special production equipment (SPE) including cost and schedule responsibility until series maturity
  • Participation in coordination meetings regarding construction and design approaches
  • Technical alignment with manufacturing departments and internal stakeholders
  • Commissioning of internal and external engineering services as well as maintenance and repair tasks for SPE
  • Support of the SPE purchasing team in addressing technical questions during the tender phase
  • Ensuring smooth information flow between all involved departments

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as wood technician, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, plastics and rubber process mechanic, toolmaker or similar – plus further qualification as technician or business administrator
  • Initial professional experience in procurement and a technical field (engineering)
  • Technical understanding to provide subject-specific advice at project interfaces
  • Advanced user skills in MS Excel and SAP; confident use of MS Office applications
  • German and English language skills at negotiation level (at least C1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
