Test Engineer Space Systems (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Executing thermal vacuum test campaigns (TVAC) and calibration and characterization campaigns (C&C)
  • Maintaining and improving test procedures, performing them and critically evaluating the results
  • Analysing and correlating events with potential root causes and developing pragmatic solutions
  • Collaborating with project teams to develop efficient test strategies (quality, time, cost)
  • Participating in non-conformance management and supporting technical investigations in accordance with internal quality standards

 

Qualification

  • Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or embedded systems
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and the aerospace sector
  • Experience with space standards (ECSS) and test methods is an advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills and confident handling of network management
  • Experience with central checkout systems, including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/PUS standards, is a plus
  • Fluent English (min. C1) and good German skills (min. B2) required
  • Willingness to work in shifts (early/late/night in a 3–4-week rotation)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU and a CV in English are mandatory
