Travel Manager at Airbus (m/f/x)

We are currently recruiting a seasoned Travel Manager on behalf of our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH for the location in Taufkirchen near Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for company-wide travel management, advise internal stakeholders and manage external service providers. Apply now and become part of an international work environment!

Tasks

  • Advising and supporting internal departments on all business travel-related matters
  • Contributing to supplier management on both local and European levels – especially in collaboration with the Travel Management Company
  • Defining requirements for tender processes, implementing procurement strategies and monitoring contract performance
  • Supporting implementation projects within the travel environment, including communication planning
  • Ensuring compliance with the corporate travel policy and managing exceptions in line with compliance and ethics guidelines
  • Coordinating the corporate shuttle service between sites, including scheduling and emergency management

Qualification

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, International Management or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in corporate travel management and as a Travel Manager
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
  • CV in English required
  • Valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
