Tasks

  • Inspecting incoming goods for visible damage and verifying packing lists, parts and serial numbers
  • Posting goods receipts for both large and small parts – including customs goods
  • Indexing and labelling of incoming goods
  • Entering and maintaining data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Communicating with customs, reviewing documentation and ensuring timely submission
  • Processing open bookings and supporting the resolution of irregularities
  • Acting as an internal point of contact for order handling

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training, e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable commercial training is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in operational contract logistics
  • Ideally, initial knowledge of customs procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP and other IT and inventory management systems (e.g. PTS)
  • Proficient German language skills (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatorry
