Tasks

Inspecting incoming goods for visible damage and verifying packing lists, parts and serial numbers
Posting goods receipts for both large and small parts – including customs goods
Indexing and labelling of incoming goods
Entering and maintaining data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Communicating with customs, reviewing documentation and ensuring timely submission
Processing open bookings and supporting the resolution of irregularities
Acting as an internal point of contact for order handling

Qualification

Completed vocational training, e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable commercial training is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in operational contract logistics
Ideally, initial knowledge of customs procedures
In-depth knowledge of SAP and other IT and inventory management systems (e.g. PTS)
Proficient German language skills (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
Willingness to work in a two-shift system
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatorry
