Project assistants play a central role within a project. Project assistants have usually completed commercial training or a degree in economics, but motivated career changers with relevant professional experience can also work successfully as project assistants.
A project assistant is largely responsible for administrative tasks within a project. Among other things, they must have good self-organization and organizational skills in order to be able to take on project-oriented planning. As a link between various project participants, who sometimes have little direct contact, they must also have good communication skills. Assertiveness is also one of the qualities of a good project assistant, in order to motivate everyone involved to work together as planned and to keep the project on track.

ARTS is looking for project assistants for us and our clients. Our employees are employed in the aerospace industry, the mechanical and plant engineering sector, as well as in numerous innovation companies.
Project assistants at ARTS are centrally involved in the conception, presentation and scheduled execution of important projects. For example, they take on the preparation of reports, correspondence, tabular overviews and presentations throughout the course of the project. Furthermore, they process correspondence for their organizational unit or direct superiors. Of central importance are the monitoring of the budget for the area of responsibility, the control of incoming invoices and the development and evaluation of project-related databases. As project representatives, project assistants organize strategic workshops, events, and other project appointments, participate in internal and external events, organize business trips, and attend to visitors.
