Tasks

  • Ensuring the operational supply of materials in the engine area

  • Checking material availability and organising and monitoring exchange options

  • Carrying out material bookings

  • Independent development of alternatives in the event of bottlenecks in accordance with technical, aviation law and commercial requirements as well as customer priorities and coordination with the specialist departments 

  • Identification of critical parts for prioritisation/escalation and independent initiation of escalation processes

  • Coordination of necessary measures with the departments (customer service, material planning, purchasing, etc.)

  • Representation of the supply concerns of the assigned workshops

  • Identification of optimisation potential in the supply chain, coordination with interfaces and commissioning of improvement measures

Qualification

  • Successfully completed skilled labour or commercial training

  • Demanding additional qualification, such as master craftsman or state-certified technician

  • Good knowledge of material supply and / or engine maintenance desirable

  • User knowledge of IT systems for materials management and control such as SAP R/3

  • Very good knowledge of English and German required

  • Existing work permit for the EU
