Tasks

  • Responsibility for planning, procurement and commissioning of operating resources and shop floor equipment, including standard tools, manual and small machines, operating equipment, grinding tools, milling cutters, transport and storage trolleys and workstation systems such as workbenches
  • Analysis of existing systems and, if necessary, further development to optimise efficiency and functionality
  • Providing technical support and advice to internal customers regarding operating equipment and its possible applications

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training in the field of metalworking, sheet metal processing or similar
  • Additional qualifications as a mechanical engineering technician or master craftsman are an advantage
  • Initial experience in the planning of operating equipment or similar areas
  • Sound understanding of standardised processes and commercial contexts
  • Good general IT skills for the effective use of software tools
  • Fluency in English
  • Existing work permit for the EU
