Tasks

• Development and optimisation of components and assemblies taking into account specific design and manufacturing requirements and processes
• Compliance with parameters such as separation rules for electrical systems, pressure and temperature conditions and maximum pressure loss
• Analysis of load frequency, load-bearing capacity, integration sequences and accessibility for an optimal design
• Use of CATIA V5 and Teamcenter for the development and continuous updating of designs
• Utilisation of model-based definition (MBD) and integration of PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) via 3D annotations
• Maintenance and management of parts lists and data releases via SAP for a smooth manufacturing process
• Definition of interface specifications and provision of complete data packages for the development of subsystems by external service providers

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline
• Proven experience in the creation and editing of 3D models and assemblies in CATIA V5 and Teamcenter as well as in the creation of precise 2D documentation
• Strong spatial visualisation skills, ideally with initial experience in using 3D annotations to implement PMI (Product Manufacturing Information)
• Business fluent in German and English; expertise in French is a plus
• Existing work permit for the EU
