Electrical Engineer in Aviation (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Definition of SIDP standards (System Installation Design Principle) and implementation of AIPS standards (Airbus Process Specification) in current programmes and in the Research & Technology portfolio
  • Active participation in validation and verification activities to assess the conformity of ESI (Electrical System Installation) designs and identify deviations
  • Create and analyse architectures based on design drafts to ensure integration of on-board electrical systems and manage dependencies and interfaces between systems, airframe, cabin, cargo compartments and production
  • Participation in improvement projects and major development programmes for the existing flying fleet as well as research topics on future technology

Qualification

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering, ideally with an advanced academic background
  • Alternatively, completed training as an electrician, electronics technician for aeronautical systems (aircraft electronics technician) or mechatronics technician, at least at master craftsman level
  • Several years of professional experience as a design engineer in the field of electrics, engineering and aircraft construction
  • Sound knowledge of project management
  • Detailed user knowledge in CATIA V5, experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Proficient in German and business fluent in English
  • Work permit for the EU available
