Tasks

  • Management of the entire First Article Inspection (FAI) process, central contact person and monitoring of deviation tracking
  • Development of customised inspection plans based on the requirements of the construction documents
  • Organisation and moderation of kick-off meetings with an interdisciplinary team from engineering, production planning, manufacturing and quality assurance
  • Defining targeted validation methods to ensure the success of FEMI (First Article Manufacturing Inspection) and programme releases
  • Review and evaluation of existing FAI reports
  • Defining suitable measurement methods and tools for the specific FAI activities
  • Acting as a central interface between production, quality assurance, work preparation and design
  • Detailed reporting of relevant FAI key figures to make the progress of the project and the quality of the production processes transparent

Qualification

  • University degree in computer science, engineering or quality management
  • Alternatively, completed technical vocational training, ideally as a technician or business administrator, specialising in quality management, production or related areas
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the area of First Article Inspection (FAI)
  • Practical experience in quality management, ideally in the implementation of FAI processes, knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes is an advantage
  • Detailed user knowledge in MS Office and SAP, preferably experience with G Suite, expertise in B-Flow and Norm Master are a plus
  • Business fluent in German and fluent in English
  • Work permit for the European Union available
