Tasks

• Active participation in procurement activities, management of bidding and contract negotiations to achieve the best possible purchasing conditions
• Monitoring and contract management throughout the project phases (innovation, development, series production and support) in close co-operation with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure long-term partnerships and smooth processes
• Ensuring supplier performance in all relevant areas such as logistics, support, quality and costs to maximise efficiency and results
• Managing supplier performance in ongoing projects with a focus on optimising customer value while reducing total cost of ownership and minimising risk
• Active participation and management of multifunctional teams during the tendering and contract award phase and throughout the contract to ensure successful project implementation

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or economics
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management and contract management, with sound experience in contract negotiations
• Airbus experience is an advantage in order to quickly familiarise yourself with the specific requirements of the industry
• In-depth user knowledge of MS Excel and basic expertise in SAP, experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
• Business fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 6-8 times per year)
• A valid work permit for the EU
