Tasks

• Manage operational collaboration and act as a point of contact for internal functions to ensure smooth communication
• Evaluate suppliers during the bidding phase and contribute to decision making by providing consolidated forecasts and capacity analyses
• Responsibility for on-time and quality delivery, including monitoring cost aspects
• Managing the quality approval of suppliers and ensuring compliance with required certifications
• Presentation of supplier performance through KPIs and regular assessments in product meetings
• Monitoring and supporting the introduction of new products
• Initiate and lead projects to improve supplier performance and set long-term development goals
• Work closely with internal teams at customer sites

Qualification

• Completed studies in a technical subject, industrial engineering or in the field of supply chain/logistics
• Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in civil aviation
• Sound knowledge of CIP (continuous improvement process) and total quality management, basic knowledge of process and risk management
• Good expertise in the field of civil aviation (CA) documentation is an advantage
• In-depth user knowledge of SAP, experience with Google Workspace an advantage
• Business fluent in German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Existing work permit for the EU required
