Tasks

  • Teaching of practice-orientated and theoretical content for sound training in the profession of aircraft electronics technician and for further specialisation courses in Part 66 training up to CAT B2
  • Intensive training in the production and/or maintenance of aircraft and their electronic and/or mechanical components
  • Teaching of practical and theoretical knowledge for obtaining type ratings, including special courses such as avionics component testers
  • Development and preparation of teaching materials for structured and effective training
  • Conducting comprehensive instruction in general technical areas, aeronautical topics and occupational safety
  • Conducting practical and theoretical examinations to assess the progress and performance of participants, including detailed assessments
  • Processing and implementing projects for the further development and optimisation of training programmes and training measures
  • Control and management of report books, workshop reports and administrative tasks to ensure effective training

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft electronics technician, as well as relevant further training as a technician or master craftsman
  • IHK/HWK instructor qualification and master craftsman training are advantageous and desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in the aviation industry, maintenance or development of aircraft and components
  • Expertise and experience in the field of teaching is a plus
  • Very good German and English language skills for effective communication and documentation
