Tasks

  • Ensuring service levels, quality and costs by identifying, evaluating and analysing relevant metrics to ensure on-time deliveries (inbound/outbound, routine, rush, aircraft on ground)
  • Structuring and optimising the physical material flows for new parts and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) components from the supplier via the logistics centre to the customer or central warehouse
  • Maintaining efficient warehouse processes and support systems by continuously analysing and implementing improvement measures
  • Proactive measures to rectify process disruptions while adhering to specified response times as the first point of contact
  • Identifying and improving existing processes in collaboration with logistics service providers and internal interfaces such as Support, Service and Methods & Tools, focussing on quality, costs and time
  • Creating and analysing daily, weekly and monthly reports and preparing presentations to support decision-making
  • Coordinating and implementing change requests to optimise and stabilise the IT and process landscape
  • Collaboration in projects until the defined goals are achieved as well as practical support in problem-solving processes (PPS)

Qualification

  • Completed technical training (at least technician/specialist) or vocational training with further training as a master craftsman or technician as well as additional qualifications in production processes and production/assembly technology
  • Several years of professional experience in logistics, aerospace and supply chain management with a focus on logistics processes and MRO processes (maintenance, repair & overhaul)
  • Detailed user knowledge in SAP, confident handling of Google Workspace (GSuite); knowledge of JIRA and/or Spotfire an advantage
  • Business fluent in German and English; knowledge of French advantageous
  • Valid work permit for the European Union
