Last Mile Optimizer GmbH, a leading logistics company with over 30 years of experience in last-mile distribution, was faced with the challenge of harmonising, optimising and standardising its HR structures and processes.
Requirements
At the beginning of the partnership, it was important to gain an overview of Last Mile Optimizer GmbH's existing HR structures and procedures. Our HR audit identified key strengths and potential for improvement in Last Mile Optimizer GmbH's HR work. In the further course of the project, our collaboration was intended to develop the HR department and provide long-term support to the internal HR officer and the management on project topics.
Solution
In close cooperation with Last Mile Optimizer, we developed a customised HRBP-on-demand solution that is specifically tailored to the current challenges of Last Mile Optimizer GmbH. The collaboration is fully remote. Documents are mainly exchanged via shared repositories, supplemented by short operational and longer strategic video calls. We work with a combination of bookable hourly packages and project-based offers, depending on current needs. Phases of intensive content development on our part alternate with accompanied implementation phases on the client's side.
For example, our consultants optimise operational processes such as onboarding by providing advice and tried-and-tested documents in the form of detailed explanations, process descriptions, checklists and schedules for the successful and sustainable implementation of these processes. The results of our work therefore consist of both the strategic development of topics and processes as well as the practical operational provision of templates, forms, routing slips and other documents.
Result
The close collaboration with ARTS has significantly advanced Last Mile Optimiser GmbH's HR work. Optimised processes, particularly in the areas of onboarding and operational integration management, were implemented efficiently, resulting in a sustainable improvement in HR work, for example in the areas of employee retention and legal certainty.
Outsourcing selected HR processes to ARTS noticeably relieves the internal HR department and speeds up the processing of strategic issues. As a result, Last Mile Optimizer GmbH's HR work has been successfully harmonised, structured and modernised.

How exactly does the collaboration with HRBP on Demand work?
