Job opportunities
Personnel administrators are administrative employees and work in companies in almost all economic sectors. Further positions can be found in the banking and insurance industries, in commerce and with specialized personnel service providers. The basis for working as a personnel administrator is usually a commercial education, often followed by specific further training.
The central point of contact in the daily work of HR administrators is the workforce. Among other things, they take care of personnel files, prepare contracts and certificates, and are responsible for the company's payroll. They may also be involved in human resources projects and ongoing application processes, or help oversee personnel and budget planning.
Knowledge of the relevant legal principles is essential for working with payroll and personnel contracts. Furthermore, HR administrators need a sound knowledge of common office applications for data maintenance as well as document creation and management. In addition to their training, most HR administrators already have several years of relevant professional experience in human resources.
HR administrators have regular contact with the rest of the company's employees. Good communication skills as well as a general enjoyment of dealing with people are therefore important soft skills. In addition, they perform many of their tasks independently and on their own responsibility and should therefore have a high degree of flexibility, organization and diligence.
Projects
ARTS personnel administrators take on demanding tasks in the personnel departments at our company and at our customers in industries such as aerospace and software development, as well as at service providers. A central task is the autonomous payroll accounting for all employee groups on the basis of the corresponding legal and company regulations. The individual calculation basis is the working time; the maintenance of time recording data is also part of their area of responsibility. In addition, ARTS personnel administrators handle the creation and revision of contracts with all employees.
Furthermore, ARTS personnel administrators undertake activities in cooperation with the individual social insurance agencies and are involved in the execution of monthly and annual financial statements.
In addition to their payroll activities, HR administrators act as experts for employees in other departments and support them in personnel-related issues.
