Tasks

  • Professional application of multi-coat paints to components and assemblies in series production using a brush and spray gun, taking into account the specified layer thickness
  • Monitoring expiry dates, completeness and integrity of materials, as well as reporting stock shortages
  • Preparation and conversion of testing and painting equipment
  • Preparing materials and surfaces according to specifications, including masking, cleaning and mixing paints
  • rectifying simple faults (pressure adjustment of the spray gun)
  • Carrying out simple tests according to test instructions (checking for contamination and surface smoothness, as well as documenting the test results)
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning work in accordance with the specified guidelines
  • Cleaning, applying adhesion promoters, mixing and applying sealants to components, including the use of sealpistols and carrying out a visual follow-up inspection (DWP)

Qualification

  • Completed training as a painter or varnisher
  • Proven professional experience in handling the paint gun for precise painting work
  • Experience in handling sealants desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in aviation painting advantageous, but not essential
  • Openness to Saturday and weekend work and willingness to work overtime and shifts
  • Possession of a driving licence and vehicle advantageous
  • Existing work permit for the EU
