Contract Manager for Heat Projects (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Ensuring the updating and adaptation of contracts through addenda and modifications
  • Managing and coordinating contractual interfaces between clients and contractors as well as between different contractors
  • Identifying potential claims and developing measures to minimise risk
  • Implementation of efficient claim management to safeguard contractual interests
  • Monitoring contract management processes, contract deadlines, changes to laws and standards and compliance with delivery and service scopes
  • Ensuring court-proof documentation through structured archiving of all relevant contractual processes
  • Creation and structured filing of defect reports prior to acceptance until handover to the operator
  • Carrying out contract training for project teams and promoting a continuous improvement process through ‘lessons learnt’

Qualification

  • Degree in business administration, law, engineering or a comparable technical discipline
  • In-depth experience in (international) contract management, especially in negotiation and execution phases
  • Expertise in reviewing and drafting company-specific contracts (BGB) and standard contract templates (e.g. FIDIC, VOB)
  • Practical experience in Europe-wide procurement, ideally as a contracting authority (EU sector regulation)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English for international contract negotiations
  • Existing work permit for the EU
