Contract Manager in Purchasing (m/f/x)

Our client Airbus Operations GmbH in Bremen is looking for a committed Contract Manager in Purchasing with the ability to quickly recognise and precisely analyse contractual relationships. In this key position, you can expect a dynamic working environment in which independent, structured and results-orientated work is required in order to achieve the set targets on time and to coordinate the work processes efficiently. Your strong communication skills will enable you to work successfully with contacts at all levels. The gross annual salary is between €70,000 and €80,000 and the position is initially limited to 12 months.

Tasks

  • Drafting and implementation of standard contracts with relevant economic, commercial, technological, legal and risk management requirements
  • Review, adaptation and further development of existing procurement contracts
  • Preparation, drafting and negotiation of contract annexes and binding agreements
  • Conducting a legal analysis of contractual agreements in the event of discrepancies or potential disputes with suppliers
  • Preparation and management of contract negotiations together with the Procurement Commodity Buyers
  • Signing the Contract Validation Form with important contract contents, deviations, risks and opportunities
  • Supporting other departments with expertise in contract analysis, development and negotiation
  • Development of training materials for the Procurement Academy as well as coaching and on-the-job training for junior buyers in the areas of contract management and negotiation techniques

Qualification

  • Degree in law or business administration as a solid foundation for the tasks in procurement and contract management
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, legal affairs and contract management
  • Experience with Google Workspace an advantage
  • Business fluent in English for effective communication with international partners and suppliers
  • Existing work permit for the EU
