Engineer for REFA Time Management (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Determination and definition of target times based on REFA and MTM standards to optimise work processes
  • Creation and continuous adaptation of models that take set-up times, batch sizes and order complexity into account
  • Analysing production and logistics processes with a focus on improving the value chain
  • Identification of potential savings and development of feasible optimisation proposals
  • Definition, coordination and implementation of process-related instruments in close cooperation with the specialist departments
  • Developing and implementing operational and administrative measures to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Creating clear and comprehensible standard operating procedures to ensure standardised processes
  • Creating technical specifications and coordinating external service providers to support projects
  • Teaching methods and tools for process improvement as part of projects, Kaizen workshops and information events

Qualification

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in a technical field or qualified further training as a technician/master craftsman with additional qualification as an industrial engineer (MTM or REFA)
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, including carrying out time studies, process analyses and time recordings according to MTM or REFA standards
  • Knowledge of work preparation, task-related processes, rules and guidelines; ideally experience with time recording software such as ORTIM or TiCon
  • Proven knowledge of MTM and REFA (at least completed)
  • Sound user knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Google Suite
  • Business fluent German and good English skills
  • Valid work permit for the European Union
