Tasks

• Close cooperation with the Program Lead Buyer for the optimal implementation of a procurement strategy for a helicopter series
• Support in analysing offers, selecting suitable suppliers and negotiating procurement contracts
• Collaboration in procurement contract management, raw material management, supply chain and quality management as well as in purchasing controlling and risk management
• Ensuring consistent and error-free application of all relevant procurement processes
• Responsibility for updating the procurement plan with detailed tasks, obligations and monitoring of cost development
• Acting as the central interface for all procurement issues within the product line or project
• Ensuring the delivery of products, documentation and services according to quality, time and cost
• Consolidate supply management data (hardware costs, operational costs, quality and time metrics) and provide regular reporting on project progress, risks and opportunities

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies in engineering, aerospace engineering, business administration or a similar field
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and project management, ideally with proven expertise in managing complex projects
• In-depth user knowledge of MS Office and SAP, combined with experience in using GSuite tools
• Business fluent in German and English
• Existing work permit for the EU
