Tasks

  • Management of a team for the electrotechnical platform
  • Ensure compliance with standards and performance of the team
  • Supervise and coordinate design activities
  • Manage and deliver electrical system programmes according to schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as EASA and FAA for certification of installed electrical systems
  • Review and approve system drawings and documents to ensure compliance with OEM and regulatory requirements
  • Creation and maintenance of electrical standard and process documentation
  • Reporting to management on programme status and effective communication with customers, suppliers and OEMs

Qualification

  • University degree or equivalent in an electrical engineering field, ideally with an MSc
  • Professional experience in the design of electrical wiring and installations
  • Excellent knowledge of aerospace cabin interiors, including galleys and seats
  • Understanding of the effective application of tolerances and knowledge of manufacturing processes and OEM installation requirements
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and computer-aided design and analysis methods, especially CATIA V5 and AutoCAD
  • Good command of English
  • Work permit for the EU available
