Aircraft Structure Assembly & Support Engineer (m/f/x)

For our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth we are looking for an Aircraft Structure Assembly & Support Engineer. In this versatile position, your analytical and conceptual skills are crucial for success. With your high level of customer orientation, independent and conscientious way of working and your flexible and committed demeanour, you will make a significant contribution to the further development of innovative aviation projects. Tasks

  • Planning, procurement and commissioning of a new assembly line to increase production efficiency
  • Monitoring of budget and delivery dates for procurement projects to ensure on-time and on-budget realisation
  • Layout planning and space optimisation for an optimal production flow and effective use of space
  • Supporting the implementation of a logistics concept to improve production logistics
  • Supporting production with the introduction of technical processes and regulations to ensure compliance with standards
  • Initiate cross-departmental process improvements, from individual parts to final assembly, taking into account industrial requirements
  • Contact person for quality departments regarding process management and application
  • Contribute to the introduction of new technologies for innovative helicopter programmes and production methods

Qualification

  • Completed studies in business informatics, industrial engineering or economics
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of work preparation, scheduling/material procurement, manufacturing/production, production planning and control, project management as well as supply chain and logistics
  • Sound knowledge in technical areas such as technical documentation and technical processing, each with several years of professional experience
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP, confident working with CATIA and Delmia, knowledge of Windchill is an advantage
  • Business fluent German and good English skills, French is an advantage
  • Work permit for the EU available
