Tasks

  • Carry out design changes and upgrades according to customer requirements and adapt equipment to the latest development standards
  • Remedy defects and damage after delivery, quickly and effectively resolve problems directly at the customer's premises
  • Fulfilling individual customer requests on site to solve specific customer needs at FAL
  • Ensuring a smooth workflow and constant flow of materials
  • Analysing requirements and ordering spare parts and consumables as well as ensuring the availability and replenishment of the necessary resources
  • Processing spare parts orders and returning used components
  • Timely provision of all required resources for extensive work
  • Systematic recording and reporting of all deployments, customer feedback and recognisable problems

Qualification

  • Completed training as an aircraft technician and (technical) high school diploma
  • Several years of professional experience in assembly or maintenance, ideally with a focus on mechanical and hydraulic components
  • Sound knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics, especially in the field of landing gear and shock absorbers as well as experience in working on a final assembly line
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Business fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Flexibility for shift work and willingness to travel on business
  • Class B driving licence
  • Valid EU work permit
