Tasks

  • Independent preparation of tax returns and annual financial statements for clients from various industries
  • Professional posting of all relevant business transactions in accordance with commercial and tax law requirements to ensure financial transparency
  • Carrying out all ongoing activities within financial accounting, including account reconciliation and monitoring of payment transactions
  • Independent support of a fixed group of clients, including advice on tax and accounting issues
  • Careful review of tax assessments and development of appeal options to enforce client interests
  • Support and preparation of clients for tax audits, including document preparation and clarification of open questions
  • Collaboration on exciting projects and special tasks in order to support clients individually and in a targeted manner

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training in taxation, ideally as a tax clerk, with sound knowledge in the relevant specialist areas
  • Experience in the preparation of financial accounting, payroll accounting, annual financial statements and tax returns for various industries
  • Initial contact with DATEV ‘Unternehmen Online’ and the ‘Digital Personnel File’ is desirable, but not a prerequisite
  • Confident handling of DATEV software, especially in the area of accounting and payroll accounting, as well as MS Office applications such as MS Word and MS Excel
