Business Economist for Finance & Controlling (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB and tax law guidelines, including detailed balance sheet and income statement comments
  • Professional contact for German and international auditors and tax authorities
  • Preparation and support for tax audits
  • Commercial and tax law set-up and support for foreign permanent establishments and their accounting
  • Central contact person for internal commercial and controlling queries
  • Independent responsibility for specific accounting issues in accordance with IFRS, HGB and international tax law
  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation and processing of transfer pricing issues
  • Responsible for advance VAT returns and processing tax law issues
  • Continuous improvement of the internal control system and reporting as well as optimization of financial processes

Qualification

  • Successfully completed commercial studies in the field of finance and controlling
  • Alternatively, completed commercial training with further training in finance
  • Experience in managing international subsidiaries or operating sites
  • Very good business management expertise
  • Confident handling of SAP-FI/CO and MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Valid work permit for the European Union
