Tasks

• Ensuring the test capability of test equipment for the MRO workshops in the LHT network by selecting and implementing suitable test procedures
• Developing calibration concepts, defining test characteristics and determining the calibration procedure to optimise the use of test equipment
• Control of calibrators, definition of test intervals and development of customised programmes for process optimisation
• Planning complex measurements and calibrations and designing the necessary tools for special requirements
• Setting content specifications, monitoring deadlines, prioritising tasks and verifying and documenting results
• Responsibility for operational calibrations and decisions on the further use of equipment based on the results
• Continuous improvements to increase efficiency and quality assurance of calibration processes
• Development and maintenance of standardised procedural instructions in accordance with ISO 17025

Qualification

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, measurement technology or a related field
• Alternatively, comparable training as a technician with sound expertise in measurement methodology and calibration
• Initial practical experience in the application of measurement methods and the performance of calibrations
• Sound knowledge of compliance with and optimisation of quality specifications
• Ability to develop new standards and successfully implement them in practice
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Valid work permit for the EU
