Design Engineer in Development (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Adaptation and optimisation of primary and secondary structures for maximum efficiency and performance
  • Preparation of precise and standard-compliant documentation according to EASA Part 21J and 21G for the development and modification of aircraft
  • Ensuring full compliance with the requirements of the aviation authorities
  • Innovative solutions for adapting and improving aircraft structures
  • Development of technical documentation that fulfils all regulatory requirements and safety standards
  • Assisting in the preparation of detailed modification and development documentation critical for certification and implementation

Qualification

  • Successfully completed master's or diploma degree in aerospace, aircraft construction or mechanical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the development and customisation of aircraft structures
  • Sound knowledge of technical mechanics and FEM modelling
  • Experience in mechanics as well as modelling and analysis with tools such as ANSYS and 3D design, ideally with SolidWorks
  • Expertise in creating technical designs with modern 3D design tools and proficient with product lifecycle management tools (e.g. PTC Windchill)
  • Efficient management and organisation of development processes with PLM software
  • Business fluent in English
  • Work permit for the EU available
