Tasks

• Independent development of individual parts, parts, components and assemblies
• Creation and provision of design documents (drawings, parts lists)
• Elaboration of drafts taking into account production technology, materials, standards and static calculations
• Development of weight- and cost-optimised solutions and proposals
• Collaboration on specifications and retrofit requirements such as vendor service bulletins
• Independent modelling in 3D CAD systems and development of functional mechanisms
• Developing concepts for design, production, materials and technologies in consultation with the team leader/supervisor
• Implementation of customer requirements in design documents

Qualification

• Completed studies in Aircraft Construction, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the field of development, aircraft construction, design and aerospace
• Basic knowledge of project management
• Detailed specialised knowledge in MS Office, expertise in detailed functions in Catia V5 and know-how in Cabin Interior are an advantage
• Business fluent in German and English
• Work permit for the EU available
