Tasks

  • Independent design and optimisation of individual parts and assemblies for maximum efficiency
  • Provision of detailed drawings and parts lists to optimise production processes
  • Developing designs taking into account modern manufacturing techniques, materials, standards and static calculations
  • Developing innovative and cost-efficient design proposals for leaner production
  • Independent creation of 3D models to visualise complex functional mechanisms
  • Precise implementation of customer requirements in design documents in accordance with technical specifications
  • Development and coordination of concepts for design, material selection and manufacturing technologies in close cooperation with the team leader
  • Supporting internal teams to ensure the smooth realisation of designs

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician, technical draughtsman (specialising in mechanical and plant engineering)
  • Several years of professional experience in design, aerospace, aircraft construction and technical documentation; at least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Sound user knowledge of SAP, Catia V5 and 3D CAD systems; MS Office expertise and experience in cabin interiors desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Existing work permit for the EU
